Samaritan West Virginia Trip

On Friday I drove to Bradshaw W. Virginia with my Aunt Linda and Crystal. (my kickboxing instructor) The 6 hour drive was a lot of fun. Of course we talked and laughed the whole way, which made the drive go fast. We met up with others from church on Friday night where we stayed at at Holiday Inn Express. The Coke a Cola company paid all the expenses, including a dinner Friday night.

Crystal, Me and Aunt Linda. We all set up tents and tables at the Baptist church in Bradshaw. There were three different missions who came to serve. Samaritans Feet, Samaritan Medical (Landmarks' mission) and Play Book Ministries. Play Book Ministries had games and small rides set up for all the children.
This sweet little girl was getting her shoe size written on her hand so we could fit her for brand new shoes donated by Samaritans Feet. An organization that goes all over the world giving new shoes to the needy.
Doc. Humphries attending to to a wheelchair bound lady. The quilt she has was made by Aunt Linda's mom. She couldn't believe someone would give her something so beautiful.
Part of Samaritans Feet's mission is washing the needy people's feet and sharing the gospel with the men, women and children before giving them their brand new shoes. Many people came to know the Lord through this ministry.

Some men came to share their building skills with the Bradshaw church. They worked on the platform in the new sanctuary and a room in the back of the church. They got a lot done in a little amount of time. This is Melissa and Al from South Carolina. They entertained the crowd with real country gospel. I was really blessed by this trip. I think we'll go as a family next year.
