Amber's cat Angel, gave birth to three little kittens this week. It wasn't a surprise, since we knew she got out a couple months ago. We had planned on getting her "fixed" but since she's an indoor cat, we just kept putting it off. So, consequently, we now have three adorable little kittens. She had them on Wednesday. The first two were born within an hour of each other. Then 8 hours later, the third one was born. Amber's in 7th heaven. The kids have given them names. Of course that's always an interesting process. Finally they've agreed on Pumpkin, Casper and Nike. Pumpkin and Casper are obviously from a "Fall" theme. Nike, well that one was Austin's choice.
Snuggled up for their nap. They pretty much eat and sleep at this point. I'm glad there are only three because as soon as they get moble I'm going to have to "kitten" proof the house. As big as our house is, that's going to be a chore. You may be wondering, are we going to keep them all???? Very simply.....NO !! As much as Amber would like too, it's not going to happen. I've already got a couple people interested in one from work and I'm sure we can take one to the flea market and find a good home. In the mean time, the kids love coming home and holding them. One things for sure, these kittens will not be afraid of human touch.
