God has truly blessed Ken Ham and his vision for a museum to show the scientific evidence that supports the Biblical account of God's creation of our world. What an awesome experience it was as a family to visit this museum. As a young girl our family traveled all over the country visiting national parks and museums. Yellowstone, California Redwoods, Grand Canyon, Painted Dessert, ..... I could go on and on. But each time we visited a museum or park we were always given the evolutionist view of how it all got there. Billions and billions of years ago... they would begin. I remember my dad took great pleasure in giving us his own "guided tour" and would tell us (just loud enough for someone else to maybe hear too) the scientific proof that supported the Biblical account for the fossils, the age of the rocks, how the grand canyon was formed, or the variety of animals. Now, how wonderful it is, to see a creation museum that echo's the same Biblical evidence my dad's spent years preaching and teaching to others.
I couldn't help but think of my dad as we went through the museum. After he past away, my mom donated much of his collection to the museum, which they display throughout the museum. It was so thrilling to see some of the very things he had gotten on some of our trips as kids. All of the items he had used over the years to demonstrate science and the Bible go hand in hand. Dad had been to hundreds of museums and not one knew the TRUTH that he knew and loved to teach others. How he would have LOVED the creation museum, the thousands of people experiencing the TRUTH about God and his creation and experiencing it, in such a first class, spectacular museum.
I also couldn't help but think of how blessed my dad's grandchildren are to experience a Creation Museum. People travel from all over the country to see this museum and we have to travel only a few miles. More importantly, they can see that our Biblical views are supported by science and as Christians we can be confident in knowing that God's Word is Truth! I know that Satan and those that are "myth-taken" with evolution, tried to stop the creation museum from ever being built, but thanks to the prayers and financial support of thousands of Christians, God's TRUTH prevailed. And it did in such a MIGHTY way !!!

This was taken at one of the displays in the museum that gave the human reason and the Biblical reason for things we observe. I thought the boys resembled the ape in the picture! ha ha Human reason would say their related... Biblical reason, God designed us to inhabit the earth together, so similarities would be present. (case in point... monkeys like bananas, Josh & Austin do too)
The displays were very cool. The animatronix (sp) were very well done. I suggest before you go through the museum you check out the "Men in White" movie. It's really good !!
