Our first baseball road trip of the year. Marietta Georgia, just North of Atlanta, is where you'll find the famous East Cobb Baseball Organization. We've always heard about East Cobb and their awesom facilities, ever since Austin first began playing baseball at age 8. We've even played against East Cobb in the Mississippi Tournaments but have never played at East Cobb. Their fields were very nice and of course the Southern hospitality is always a welcome change.
The trip however, didn't get off to a great start. Amber, being the sharing sister she is, shared the stomach virus she had earlier in the week with Austin just in time for us to leave Thursday night. Amber didn't want to make this trip so she stayed with Aunt Deborah, insuring herself a great weekend of fun with Rachel, Abby and Josh. Austin's 7 hour van trip wasn't such a joy ride, to say the least. But he recovered by Friday night just in time for me to pick off where he left off starring at the porcelain bowl of doom. UGH !!. But thankfully it's only a 24 hour sentence.
