Well it finally happend... Our first trip to the emergency room with Austin after getting hurt on the baseball field. He was at the plate when the pitcher threw a high fast ball right at his head. Austin turned his head around but the ball hit him right in the back of the neck just below the helmet. He was unable to charge the mound (JK ha ha)... because he was dazed and confused and not able to focus... so we had him checked out at Childrens. He was diagnosed with a level 2 concussion. He was fine within hours but it was a little scarry. They put him in a neck brace while at the hospital just to be safe. Austin said that was almost as bad as getting hit with the ball... very uncomfortable, as you can see by the look on Austin's face he's not real happy.
